This past Monday we had our first Spectrum meeting at 7:30 in 340 CSC, and we are all very excited for this new semester! We have a great bunch of people attending our general meetings who rate the work that goes into the issues, and the e-board is just about to start picking submissions for the Spring 2012 issue. The Spring 2012 issue will be smaller in dimensions but longer than the Fall 2011 issue, and we’ll have more of them! We look forward to new members, new submitters, and lots of fun events.

I know you’re getting excited for our Release Party, happening December 5th at 7:30 in Frost Lounge
This Monday we’re having our movie night as well as having our Elections for Secretary. We’ll be voting then watching Black Dynamite, so bring some friends and some snacks!
Tonight will begin the election process for a new Secretary for Spectrum’s E-board in the coming Spring semester. Our current secretary, Eryn, will be abroad, so we want someone to fill her place. If you are a general member who has attended at least four meetings this semester, please consider nominating yourself or having someone nominate you for the position. Nominations will be tonight in room 340 Curry Student Center at 7:30 and the election will be next Monday.
If you are interested in running for a different position in the Spring elections, make sure you attend at least four meetings next semester for Secretary or Advertising manager, or four meetings each semester this year to run for Layout Editor, Financial Manager, or Editor in Chief.
See you tonight!
